ACF is an object of time, design, and purpose.

  • Rooted in tradition and innovation

From concept, to design, to practice, we are the sum of our parts. We believe in staying true to our roots and spiraling forward with innovation, curiosity, and abundance.

Our vessel design is in part rooted in founder Lorig’s Armenian cultural heritage, an eternity symbol often etched into stone - symbolizing life, light, and eternal well-being. Modernized into a sculptural glass object to be used for our everyday practices.

An ode to those who have paved the path before us and a symbol to do our part to care for the path and world ahead of us.

  • Taking care starts with slowing

When we are bold enough to slow down we show up intentionally for ourselves, our communities, and
the natural world. (As they say, haste makes waste).

For us, slowing down looks like sourcing clean ingredients for our candles, producing intentionally in small-batches with local partners, and designing for abundance by moving away from single-use and prioritizing the practice of a full product lifecycle.

We believe that taking care of ourselves, each other, and the objects we keep close (for years and years to come) is all connected.

  • The cycle of community

We prioritize openness, collective well-being, and honoring individual journeys, all while celebrating moments of togetherness when it comes to our partners and our customers.

Our vessels are handmade in Brooklyn and our candles are made in ACF's studio just a few blocks away. We work with local vendors and believe in the power of small supporting small.

A note from our founder

For me, engaging the senses (particularly my sense of smell) has been a way to slow down and connect deeper with myself and the world around me.

What started as an idea from a place of burnout has evolved into ACF. Everyday objects to ignite presence, to make us feel with all of our senses, invite pause and connection, to be fully awake to this moment we’re in.

ACF is what I consider a lifecycle concept: our intentional product journey mirroring our individual lifecycles and journeys. Slowing down enough to prioritize filling our cup - the pour starts with the relationship and care we have to ourselves and overflows into our communities and the world we exist in.

My hope is for ACF to be a reflection of your time, your journey, and the everyday practices that make you whole by bringing a sensory and artful element to the spaces we live. To my fellow homebodies, hosts, and mindful humans - I'm very glad you're here.
